Make sure that the mark bears “MEMBER OF MULTILATERAL RECOGNITION ARRANGEMENT” letters inside as shown in the above. Care must be taken not to confuse this IAF MLA mark with the similar IAF logo.
As defined in IAF ML2, the rights derived to use the IAF MLA Mark are non-transferrable under any circumstance, except where permission is granted by the IAF MLA signatory, KAB, to its accredited CABs to use the Accredited CAB Combined IAF MLA Mark.
IAF will license the right to use the IAF MLA Mark to KAB, which is an IAF MLA Signatory. The scope of the license will be restricted to the scope of the MLA to which KAB is a signatory of the IAF MLA. KAB may sublicense the right to use the IAF MLA Mark to those CABs that are accredited by KAB. The coverage of the sublicense will be restricted to the scope of the MLA for which KAB is a signatory of the IAF MLA, and also restricted to the CAB’s scope of KAB accreditation.
In order for KAB to sublicense the right to accredited CABs for use the IAF MLA Mark, “Agreement for Use of the IAF MLA Mark” between must be signed between KAB and the CAB.
KAB accredited CAB shall strictly stick to the following conditions for use of the IAF MLA Mark :
