On August 26, 2024, KAB hosted a cooperation meeting with Vietnam's Bureau of Accreditation (BoA). 

Mr. Giang Minh Duc, the Head of the Accreditation Department, along with three BoA staff members, visited KAB for this event.

The three-day meeting, held from August 26 to 28, focused on enhancing cooperation between the two organizations. 

KAB and BoA shared the latest accreditation data and expertise, and discussed three key topics:

1) Current Status and Key Accreditation Issues: Both organizations provided updates and explored potential areas of collaboration.

2) Mentoring Program for Digitalization of Accreditation: Discussions centered on adapting to the rapidly changing global landscape, particularly in terms of digitalization. The digital tools utilized by each accreditation body were also introduced.

3) ISMS Assessment Experience Sharing: The meeting included an observation of an ISMS assessment conducted by a KAB-accredited CB, during which practical knowledge on ISMS assessment was shared.

This meeting is expected to deepen the mutual trust between KAB and BoA, fostering stronger collaboration and enhancing their global competitiveness in the field of accreditation.
