ISO has notified that ISO standards related to COVID-19 spread will be provided for free(in read-only format.).

This action is to support global efforts in dealing with the COVID-19 crisis;

'To combat the spread of COVID-19 and bolster health care during the pandemic, ISO has made a number of standards freely available in read-only format. These include a variety of standards for personal protective equipment, ventilators and other medical supplies, management system standards, laboratory standards, and other standards to support businesses and individuals who depend on the safety of their products and the reliability of their test results.

Standards can play an important role in supporting human health, and this action by ISO will help ensure that economic inequality will not hamper the ability of any organization to access them.'
